Stephen Wolfram discusses Wolfram Alpha: Computational Knowledge Engine

Stephen Wolfram is a man who dreams big…very big. His goal is create a system that can compute all the data in the world. He developed a software, called Mathematica, which he has put to use in his “computational knowledge engine,” Wolfram Alpha.

If you ask Wolfram Alpha a question, it will compute it against all its data, and give you an answer.
