Seth Priebatsch, Princeton dropout, says building the social layer to society is finished. It’s over. Facebook rules that world. But Priebatsch says there the next framework to be built will be the game layer. In fact, we have already begun building this, it is just poorly constructed so far.

You can see example of this in businesses and with credit cards. Customers look to gain rewards from their interactions to improve their status.

Seth Priebatsch runs a company called SCVNGR (Scavenger), which uses games to drive traffic to businesses. The company has been backed by Google Ventures and has been written up in the New York Times.

It’s my hope that this is the decade of cooperation: not of games. Competition is how we got the world in this crisis. It’s now obsolete and destructive. Only through cooperation will we find a way out of this crisis to true freedom. The world’s evil leaders have manipulated us to compete to reinforce Our illusion of separateness. We really are one Humanity. And, we need to learn to really cooperate to gain our rightful power over OUR world.
