In a multitasking society, where full attention is rare, how do we stand out to clients or customers? John Davies says the answer is to be present, completely present, in mind, body and spirit. And, social media, he says, is fine as a tool for communication, but should never become your entire means of contact. Excluding face-to-face interaction removes possibilities of interpreting nonverbal communication which is crucial to building relationships. And relationships are the key to community and success.
