Architect John Norquist says that well-designed cities contribute to the common good. He states that economic growth, advancement of education, enrichment of culture, and environmental sustainability are all a result of compact and well-connected cities. Urbanism, which is high-density development, also has the ability to combat sprawl and climate change.
