This course is built of student presentations on the history of global architecture. Throughout the course, students do comparative analysis of various textbooks and study debates about where to locate “the global.” Topics discussed include: rock-cut architecture, African architecture through trade, decorative brickwork, and much more.
This is an MIT course, led by Professor Mark Jarzombek.
