Frédéric Chopin is one of the most well known names in classical music. His style and skill as a composer has stood the test of time and influenced countless musicians following.

And, Garrick Ohlsson is a highly regarded performer of Chopin’s music. He was the winner of the 1970 Chopin International Piano Competition. He has performed with the New York Philharmonic, the BBC Scottish Symphony, and the St. Petersburg Philarmonic, to name a few.

In this lecture, Ohlsson discusses the works of Chopin and plays them to give us greater insight into the pieces he has become so familiar with.
