Copyright Introduction; Basics of Legal Research; Legal Citations (Part 1 of 4)

The internet has spawned new interest on copyright laws and copyright issues, by people who in the pre-web days would have never had an interest. But now with tens of millions of blogs, online images, electronic music, e-books, and all other things digital, the common person needs to understand how to protect of their work, and how to not step on the copyrights of others.

It’s a complex subject, and it requires an in-depth understanding, not only of today’s copyright laws but of writings and intents of the United States’ founding documents. We’ve got you covered with this nearly 8-hour free online college course given by Professor Keith Winstein of M.I.T.

The course is so interesting, we think that even if you are not interested in copyright information, you will enjoy at least the first section where he covers federal powers and property rights in general.
